The Effect of Acacia mangium Leaf Feed on Apparent Metabolizable Energy, Growth Performance, and Carcass Composition of Broiler Chickens

چکیده

The experiments were conducted to determine the apparent metabolizable energy of Acacia mangium leaf meal (AMLM) and effect on growth performance carcass composition broiler chickens (Arbor acres). Twenty-four at age 24 days divided into 2 groups with four replications two raised individually in a cage. AMLM-feeding chicken was 2,359.90 kcal/kg. Experimental diets consisted AMLM 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% feeding for 161 one-day-old unsexed randomly assigned five eight completely randomized design. Feed water offered ad-libitum throughout experimental period. At 45 days, broilers per replicate slaughtered, determined. results indicated that fed not significantly different weight gain, average daily gain feed intake compared control diet (P>0.05). But had decreased conversion ratio than (P<0.05). In addition, all parameters It is concluded contained does affect chickens' composition.

Effect of Malic Acid on Growth Performance, Carcass Characteristics, and Feed Efficiency in the Broiler Chickens

This study was performed with growing chicken (1 to 56 d of age) to evaluate the effects of malic acid on broiler chicken performance. Malic acid was added to the water and offered to chicken freely from first to end of experiment with constant concentration. The treatments were zero (as a control), 0.05, 0.10, and 0.15 percent of malic acid which dissolved in water and given to them in waterer...

Apparent metabolizable energy of glycerin for broiler chickens.

Three energy balance experiments were conducted to determine AMEn of glycerin using broiler chickens of diverse ages. In experiment 1, two dietary treatments were fed from 4 to 11 d of age. Dietary treatments consisted of a control diet (no added glycerin) and a diet containing 6% glycerin (94% control diet + 6% glycerin). Four dietary treatments were provided in experiment 2 (from 17 to 24 d o...

Effect of Threonine Supplementation on Growth Performance, Metabolizable Energy, Morphological Changes and Immune Response in Broiler Chickens Challenged with Coccidia

This study was performed to investigate the effects of dietary threonine (Thr). level on performance, metabolizable energy, intestinal morphology, and immune system in coccidian–infected broiler chickens. The diets contained: 88%, 100% (Non challenged (NC) and challenged control (PC)), 112%, 124%, and 136% of Thr requirement according to Cobb 500 recommendation and fed during grower (pre challe...
